In summer I love spending time outside after work. I wander around the garden, watering, weeding and planning my next garden project. It lifts my spirit and fills me with an abundance of joy. It's like fuel for my body and mind.
But, during winter the night has fallen when I arrive home from work, so there is no opportunity to wander around the garden.
This means I must spend time on household tasks, like cleaning and coordinating our Chinese laundry. No wonder I feel depressed during winter!
I've decided to bring colour into my life to help grapple through this cold winter.
To brighten up my own mood and hopefully yours, below is a gallery of some of my spring flowers and some of the stunning orchids grown by my sister-in-law.
